For some time now at an undisclosed location several musicians from Cavan and the surrounding areas (headed up by former Strypes drummer Evan Walsh) have been collaborating in secret and worshipping at the alter of highly uncelebrated and hugely mysterious rock ’n’ roll alpha male Eddie Cruizer (also star of drive-in flops such as “The Creature That Ate Your Sister” and “Hot Rod Rocky & The Asbury Playboys vs Dracula”) in the process putting together a setlist of wild and unhinged rock ’n’ roll songs that are sure to thrill and leave a thousand questions on your lips about these elusive men and their involvement with Eddie Cruizer - who is he? Where does he go? Why does he bother?? 

Since forming in 2022 The Savage Hearts have made appearances at festivals such as Electric Picnic, Sea Sessions, Foyle Maritime Festival and Kaleidoscope amongst others. The band’s debut single ‘Gang War’, released by Blowtorch Records shot to No. 1 on the Irish download charts and has reviewed rave reviews from music blogs and outlets and earned the band a spot of Hot Press magazine’s ‘On Our Radar’ list of ones to watch. The band has undertaken a busy touring schedule including support slots with The Boomtown Rats, The Undertones, Nine Below Zero and Jerry Fish, and at the time of writing are set to make their London debut at the legendary Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues and Dublin Castle venues in July 2024 with a second single ’Speeding Bullets’ scheduled for release.
