Silas Caldwell grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi, in a house just steps from Elvis Presley’s birthplace.

His earliest memories are of van rides and live music with his father, bassist Tony Caldwell, who played alongside members of the legendary Burnside and Kimbrough families.

Named an "Artist to Watch" by Relix Magazine, Silas spent 2024 and 2025 touring the United States, sharing the traditions of Hill Country Blues (made famous by R.L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough), a genre born in North Mississippi, yet rooted in global sound.

Silas Caldwell has performed at major venues including the Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. He is endorsed by Fender Musical Instruments and has worked with the National Endowment of the Arts in the United States.

Silas Caldwell performs the hill country blues music of North Mississippi.
