Melted are a Dublin blues-based rock band drawing from the great Irish tradition of Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy and Van Morrison. Formed on the north coast of Dublin county 19 years ago, the band are known for high-octane live performances, equally at home delivering ferocious electric sets or stripped-back arrangements when the setting calls for it.

Coolock native Paul O Kelly on vocals is joined by Portmarnock trio Stuart Doyle, Mark Carroll and Scott Davis on guitars, bass and drums.

Their new releases, due later in 2026, come from recording sessions begun over a decade ago at the now demolished Bow Lane Studios — making it the final album to feature recordings from the iconic space. The material will be released alongside selected live dates.

Not nostalgia. Not retro. Just lived-in rock ’n’ roll.
