The Pan Handlers

A "panhandler" is a term for someone who asks for money or handouts from strangers, often in public places. The Panhandlers play Old Time Appalachian music frequenting any watering hole or establishment that will have them, usually the Dame Tavern on Wednesdays. The music ranges from swampy fiddle tunes to foot stompin 'sing songs and usually features Luke Deignan (Fiddle), Derek Copley (Fiddle / Banjo), Paul Mulcahy (Guitar / mandolin), Brian Flanagan (Banjo), and Christina Quill (Banjo). They are joined on occasion by any old timers and reprobates who like to sit in. Please throw a tip in their dram or offer them a sliced pan.
